Senior Calculus Honors
1 Year 1 Unit
The primary objective of this course is to give substantial
training in differential and integral calculus
with sufficient application to bring out the meaning
and importance of the subject. The course will
follow the AB Calculus AP curriculum as outlined by
the College Board at a slower pace. The AB Calculus
curriculum will not be completed in time to take
the AP Examination. Additionally, topics covered
in AB Calculus after the administration of the AP
Examination will not be addressed in this course.
Topics in this course will include: analytic geometry
review, limits, differential and integral calculus with
applications. Students scheduling themselves for this
course are expected to commit themselves to consistent,
rigorous study throughout the year.
Required: Completion of Pre-Calculus Honors or
Pre-Calculus or Analytical Geometry/Advanced
Algebra. A TI-84+ graphing calculator.
