Drawings & Paintings

I started drawing at a very early age. I can remember drawing maps and things for my parents for when they went out. When I started High School a whole new opportunity was opened for me because I was able to take many different kinds of art classes that each dealt with different types of medias. I enjoy drawing landscapes but have begun to broaden my horizons by starting facial drawings.

This is a book that I made in 8th grade. We made a rubber stamp and a book with the best prints that we made.

This was a colored pencil drawing that I did while I was in 9th grade for a brochure on Florida.

This is a book that I made in my black & white photography. We had to cut out pages in the book and add photos about and of us to the book. The photos could only be black & white. The only things that could be color were the things that we brought in to put on over the photos.

The project was past, present and future. We had to take photos that incorporated all three aspects and make one flat photo using Adobe Photoshop. Then we had to carefully cut out past, present and future and make it 3D.

This was a project to help with jester drawing. We could only use colored pencil and water colors to color in as well as a limited color scheme. In the end we had to add words to the pictures, my words follow the outlines of the people and the flowers.

We could only use an analogues color scheme to color this one in and one color had to be a highlight color. The main focus of this project was to focus on figure drawing, detail, and shading.

This is a self portrait that I took a long time to draw. This was to work on drawing facial features and shading. I love to do shading and gradient type things.
