Thurs. 9/4- Add picture to survey "Perfil Personal". Bring completed survey (with picture) to class on Friday!

Fri. 9/5- Get course information sheet signed. Money for workbook ($11.50) due by Monday, 9/15.

Mon. 9/8- WS- Textbook scavenger hunt

Tues. 9/9- WS- Situaciones, and practice the expressions we learned today in class! STUDY IDEA: Teach your expressions to a parent, sibling, or friend!

Wed. 9/10- Text p. 8, act. 11 and p. 85, act. 14- Review telling time and -AR verb conjugations! STUDY IDEA: Make flashcards with the -AR verbs we went over in class today!

Thurs. 9/11- WS- Review of the week. Your first quiz is tomorrow, and will be on Telling Time, Classroom Expressions, and -AR verbs (including vocab and conjugations).

Fri. 9/12- Quiz today! No homework! Enjoy the weekend!

Tues. 9/16- Workbook p. 49 & 52, study new vocabulary! STUDY IDEA: Go through your refrigerator and cabinets and try to label or say out loud the names of the food in Spanish!

Wed. 9/17- Workbook p. 54 and study notes on Gustar and Encantar.

Thurs. 9/18- WS-La Comida y las Descripciones. QUIZ TOMORROW on 3A vocab, gustar/encantar. STUDY IDEA: Go to my home page and click on "Resources for Students", then click on Realidades 1. Choose chapter 3A and practice the vocab! You can also use the online text to practice with flashcards!

Week of 10/6- We will be working on our Story Book projects this week!! Monday, you will have a graphic organizer "mind map" to complete in preparation for your project. All other work will be completed in class. You may work on your illustrations or on finding pictures for your project at home. Final projects will be due on Wednesday, 10/15.
