Guidelines and Expectations for Spanish

Sra. Precopia

I. Classroom expectations:

    1. I teach when there are no distractions or other problems.

    2. You are expected to participate in all class activities.

    3. I listen to one person at a time.

    4. Please treat me with the same respect I treat you.

    5. If someone causes a problem, I will do something.

    6. What I will do will depend on what happened and what the person is willing to do to solve the

        problem.

II. Materials needed:

    1. Binder with dividers and loose-leaf paper

    2. Two pens or pencils

    3. All handouts are to be kept in your binder and brought with you every day.

    4. Textbook (Spn 10) and workbook (Spn 10 and III)

III. Grading:

Grading will include tests, quizzes, homework, daily class participation, and occasional projects.

Participation includes classroom behavior and being prepared for class on a daily basis! If you participate

regularly and bring all your materials, you can raise your participation grade. If you are disruptive or

unprepared, your grade will be affected negatively.

IV. Miscellaneous:

    1. Late homework is not accepted. Projects will not be accepted more than five days late and

        late work will be penalized.

    2. If you are absent, you MUST see me as soon as possible to make up the work! You will be

expected to make up any missed tests or quizzes in a TIMELY manner.

    3. Extra help is available. See me if you need extra help for any reason!
