Process:

1.  Please form a group of eight. From the list of body systems provided below, each person will choose a different system they will become an expert on.  A list of websites that will help you in your research has been provided with each body system.  Use the information from these sites to complete the research packet, also provided below.  Before you begin your research, make sure to check out the evaluation page so that you understand what is expected of you, including due dates.

2.  Now that your research packet is complete, please find the other two colleagues with the same system and compare notes.  Decide which information best describes your system and hand in a research packet that includes this information, if necessary, print and fill out a new packet. Give the completed packet to the government official in charge of this project (That would be me ).

3. Great Job on your packet!  Now you and your two colleagues will create a PowerPoint presentation.  Your presentation should include a cover slide as well as 5 slides that provide information on your body system.  Your presentation should also include pictures, diagrams, animations, etc.  Once completed, a representative from your group will combine your presentation with the rest of the groups slides, so that we have one presentation including each body system.

4.  You and your two colleagues will now prepare a teaching tool that will help your peers become more familiar with your body system.  The teaching tool can be an activity, poster, game, or worksheet (other than your research packet).  Please be creative and find an interactive way to keep your peers interested in your system.  There are some links below that may help you in the development of a teaching tool.

5.  Each group will now present their slides to the rest of the team and provide their teaching tool as well.

6.  (Extra Credit) With each member of the science team, design blueprints of how your human-like machine will look.  Once complete, provide this to the government official supervising you.

7.  Once completed with all 6 steps above, please continue to the conclusion page using the link below.
