Welcome to Mrs. Scavo's Regents Earth Science Website. This site is designed to keep both students and parents up to date on what we are studying. Lecture topics, labs, worksheets, handouts and homework assignments will be listed on a daily basis. Dates for testing will also be posted. Mrs. Scavo reserves the right to make last minute adjustments based on unforeseen issues that may arise. Extra help by the Shen West Earth Science Teachers, during
school hours and after school, is posted in room 39A.
Free tutoring is offered every Tuesday and Thursday night at HS
East, in Room 101. The tutoring is done by adult volunteers, in
Math and Science.
The National Honor Society offers homework help also. This
service is
offered in the West Cafeteria right after school on Monday, Wednesday,
and Thursday. All are welcome, the late buses are available at 3:55 for
transport home.
Having your notebook and textbook at home is very helpful when you are absent. If you are going to be absent for more then two days, the Assistant Principal's office can have them ready to be picked up, with a phone call.
