Grading Policy

General Information for Regents Biology:

Homework - assigned almost every day.  Please check the weekly assignment sheets

Labs - lab participation and satisfactory completion of lab reports are requirements for Regents credit and eligibility to take the Regents exam in June. Missed labs can be made up after school (no more than two weeks after the lab day missed)

Quizzes & Tests - expect at least one quiz or test every week (check weekly assignment sheets).  I am always available for review before a quiz or test either before or after school.

 Regents Biology:
     Quizzes & Tests - 55%
     Labs - 25%
     Homework - 15%
     Class Work - 5%

  AP Biology:
     Quizzes & Tests - 60%
     Labs - 25%
     Homework - 15%
