US First Robotics Competition

The FIRST Robotics Competition is an exciting, nationwide competition that teams professionals and young people to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way.  The program is a life-changing, career-molding experience – and a lot of fun.  For the past 11 years Shen has participated in this event to have engineers show students how to take a concept and turn it into a robot that measures 36”x30”x60” and a weight of 130 pounds to compete against other robots in a “friendly” battle (not battlebots).
