Your kidneys are amazing organs which filter your blood and allow you to survive and maintain homeostasis.   Learn more about your kidneys by using the interactive animation.

The animation requires shock wave to play.  It will take a few minutes to download.  This was created during my masters program at  Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  It was created for use in high school biology classrooms and is appropriate for Regents, Honors, and AP Biology students.

To see the full animation, your browser window needs to be in FULL SCREEN VIEW (Hit F11).  After you have seen the animation, hit the back button in your browser to exit from the animation.  Hit F11 to go back to normal screen size.
