Regents Biology is a regents
level science course which is a graduation requirement in New York State.
The content of the course is based on the NYS Living Environment Core
Curriculum. A regents exam, called "The Living
Environment," is the final evaluation for the course.
The course meets 7 periods per
week, one period three days per week and two periods two days per
week. Students either have the double periods on A or B days, but
not Fridays.
The Living Environment Regents
given in June will be calculated as 20% of the final course grade.

Needed:
2" binder, covered text book, pencils, pens, & review book (April)
Homework:
Some form of homework
(worksheet, completion of lab, or studying) is given almost every night. A
weekly assignment sheet is provided to each student on Monday outlining the
week's assignments.
Tests and Quizzes:
There is at least one test or quiz given each week. It is often on Friday.
Interim Reports:
Each of my students is provided with an interim report each quarter to give them
and their parents feedback on progress in the course. Parents,
please call me if you do not receive an interim from your child.
