35.   Sex Glands are collectively known as  G O N A D S.   The same glands which
              make the sex cells (G A M E T E S) are the same glands which produce the
              hormones which regulate the male & female reproductive systems. 

       36.  The male gonad (T E S T I S) not only makes sperm, but also makes the male
              hormones which are collectively known as   A N D R O G E N S.  The
              hormone  T E S T O S T E R O N E  is one of these male hormones which
              also regulate male secondary sexual characteristics such as  B E A R D  growth,
              low  vocal  P I T C H  and fat deposits largely around the W A I S T. 

       37.  The female gonad (O V A R Y) not only makes eggs (O V A), but also makes
              the female hormones which are collectively known as the  E S T R O G E N S.
              The hormones  E S T R O G E N and  P R O G E S T E R O N E  are two
              of these female hormones which also regulate female secondary sexual
              characteristics such as lack of most body  H A I R, high vocal  P I T C H, and
              fat deposits in the upper  T H I G H  and B U T T O C K S.  (Note that I said
              body hair and am not suggesting that females are bald.)
