We have a wonderful addition added to our tour in Vienna.  We will have a elegant meal followed by a concert at the Kursalon in Vienna .  I know you will agree that this is the perfect way to end our visit to Vienna. 

Attention, there will be a mandatory student meeting after school on Tuesday, February 7th in room 120.  Please arrive no later than 3:00.  If you are unable to attend, please contact Ms. Conway.

  Britain 2011
                   

                     Day 1: Wednesday, 4/4 Depart Shenendehowa HS for your overnight flight  to Budapest. Dinner and breakfast en route.  

Day 2: Thursday, 4/5 Morning arrival in Budapest. Guided tour today including the famous ‘Liberty Bridge’, the Matthias Church and the Dohany Synagogue. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and time to refresh prior to enjoyin a welcome dinner with Gypsy Music.

Day 3: Friday, 4/6 Full day tour of Budapest including the Budapest Castle Museum and a Danube cruise to picturesque Szentdnre. Dinner and overnight Budapest.

Day 4: Saturday, 4/7 Travel to Vienna today! Visit the beautiful Schoenbrunn Palace. Tonight enjoy a Schnitzel Dinner and a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel in the Prater Amusement Park. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 5: Sunday, 4/8 Sightseeing in Vienna. Visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Vienna Fine Arts Museum. This morning attend the Spanish riding School’s Morning Musical Exercises, and in the afternoon participate in a Waltz Class at the tanschule Rueff School! Dinner and overnight in Vienna.

Day 6: Monday, 49 Travel today to Prague via the medieval city of Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic. Here you will visit the Sedlec Ossuary Church and St. Barbara’s Cathedral. Dinner and overnight on arrival in Prague.

Day 7: Tuesday, 4/10 Full day tour of Prague today. Visit the Prague Castle and Cathedral, catch a bird’s eye view from the observation deck of the Petrin Tower accessible via the Funicular, and have fun at the famous Mirror Labyrinth.  Dinner and overnight in Prague.

Day 8: Wednesday, 4/11 Travel today to castles! There will be time for photos at the Karlstejn Castle and then visit inside the Cesky Krumlow Castle. End your day in charming Salzburg, Austria.  Dinner and overnight in Salzburg.

Day 9: Thursday, 4/12 Full day tour of Salzburg today. You will visit the Schloss Hellbrunn Palace and its ‘magic fountains’. Also included are visits to the Nonnberg Abbey and St. Michaels Collegiate Church at Mondsee. This is the 12th Century Benedictine Monastery also seen in The Sound of Music. Continue to Muncih for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Friday, 4/13 Full day tour of Munich, Germany today. A highlight will be the Deutsches Museum of Science and Technolgoy. In addition to the Bavarian Capital City of Munich you will visit the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial. Tonight you have a traditional farewell dinner at the Hofbrauhaus. Overnight in Munich.

Day 11: Saturday, 4/14 Transfer to Munich Airport for your flights to the USA and transfer to Shenendehowa.  Lunch and snack are served in flight.
