Introduction

Have you ever wanted to hobnob with Hollywood stars?  Did you ever wonder what it was like to be part of a big screen production?  Now is your chance.  Your group has been approached to make five cells of a documentary film for one of  the early empires of the world: Greece, Rome, Maya, Mali, or the Han. 

Who was Mansa Musa?  Where could merchants travel on the silk road? Why would an Athenian pray to Zeus?  What was expected of a Han scholar?  To where did Rome spread?  These questions and others need to be answered by your films.
