Just reading through the Grapevine and it was stated that Shen is not removing girl/boy signs throughout the district. I was told that in Skano the signs within the classrooms have been removed by a directive from the administration. As a parent I would prefer my daughter to use a designated girls room and apparently this is no longer possible within that building as the students are required to share the bathrooms. Is this a school decision or a district decision?

A. The bathrooms in the elementary classrooms are single use.  There is no need for boy/girl  designation.  No one is “sharing” those restrooms.  The bathrooms that have multiple stalls are designated boy/girl.
