Karigon Elementary students received a visit from Saratoga National Historical Park Ranger and Acting Chief of Interpretation Bill Valosin. Students learned about the Battle of Saratoga, a crucial American victory, and dressed up in copies of uniforms and clothing items similar to what one would have seen during the Battles of Saratoga.  Students also participated in a “living map” activity, where student volunteers stand in various spots in the Karigon Library to represent the international impacts of the Battles of Saratoga.
