Students are to choose a book to read independently each month. Book projects or assigned activities will be discussed and a due date will be given. Students are expected to finish their book and prepare a project that will be presented to the class.

Our balanced literacy program consists of shared, guided, modeled and independent reading. 

Scholastic Book Orders

I will be sending home Scholastic book orders at least once a month. This is a great way to purchase books at very reasonable prices. When you send in an order, please make your check payable to the company for the exact amount of purchase.
