We are a no Peanut Classroom

We love birthday parties in our class.  I never give up the opportunity for treats.  If you would like to send in a small treat please feel free. Just send me a note with your child or drop me an email. schmsusa@shenet.org  Please remember that all treats sent for the class should be checked for peanuts or peanut oils.  Just a reminder please do not send party invitations with your child to school unless the entire class is invited. This is to avoid hurt feelings in our class.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Field Trips

We have several educational field trips this year.  Our first field trip was to the Brookside Museum to see how the Native Americans lived.  On April 28, we will be visiting the NYS Capitol to see government in action.  We will also visit the NYS Museum.  On June 11, we will be touring the Albany Visitor Center and then going on an excursion on the Aqua Ducks!

The highlight of our school year activities will be our 4th grade Immigration Day.  We hope that you will help make these days special by your involvement.  For a quick preview click on the following links.
