Team 8-2 Field Trips

We're outta here!

Students will be loading the busses between 6:30 - 6:45 AM.

Students will be returning to Koda from the Ellis Island between 8- 9 pm. 

Please make arrangements to pick up your son or daughter at that time.

All school rules apply on this trip.  In addition, the following items need to be considered:

Behavior- We expect your best behavior and cooperation in order to guarantee everyone's safety.

Buses- We will be riding coach buses. 

What to Bring- Bring appropriate clothing for the weather.  It will be cooler on the boat ride so dress in layers.  Whatever electronics you bring you will carry all day so don't overdo it!

Lunch- We are requiring a "bag lunch" and a drink to bring along for this trip.  Try not to eat your lunch before it's time.  Carry a few snacks for the bus ride but again remember, we are only going away for a day, not a week!

Dinner- We will likely stop at a rest stop on the way home for a meal.  Bring some cash for this purpose.  If you have special food needs you need to think about bringing your own food.

Money- There may be some opportunities to purchase a few souvenirs or a snack.  There is no need to carry a lot of money.

Be "Street wise"- Stay with your group!  Do not wander off alone. 

Security- You will be passing through a security check that requires you to remove any metal objects including belts watches, coins, wallets, etc.  Give these people your full cooperation. Be sure to take everything after you go through the security check.

Pen or Pencil- This is, after all , an educational field trip that will have an academic component for you to complete with your group at Ellis Island.  Be prepared with something to write with.
