Who is eligible? - All Koda 8th Grade Students* (* Eligibility standards for field trips apply.)
What is covered in the cost? It is "all inclusive" short of the souvenirs they buy along the way (transportation, lodging, meals, entrance fees and tips). In addition, we have an on board tour guide who gives us the details related to each stop.
Who handles the arrangements? -WorldStrides is our travel and tour company. We have been working with them successfully for over twenty years. To access their web page click on http://worldstrides.com/Main/default.asp
How do we get there? Coach bus transportation is arranged for us. Our bus takes us everywhere for the weekend.
Where do they stay? We typically stay at a moderately priced hotel (Holiday Inn, Sheraton) in the DC area. Night security is provided on each floor to provide for student and staff safety and supervision. Students select their own roommates and have four students to a room with two queen sized beds.
What are the departure and return times? We will leave at 6:45AM on Thursday and return approximately 10:30PM on Saturday.
