7th grade math class

Seventh grade is progressing well!

On the portal under the homework section, you will see a homework effort grade.  It is easily calculated by dividing the number of homework received from your child by the number of homework given.  For example:  if 8 out of 13 homeworks have been received, an effort grade of 8/13 = 62% would be entered under homework effort.

 There are students who do not receive direct AIS help, but are assigned to indirect AIS monitoring by me.  These students earned a 2 on the NYS sixth grade test last May.  They should be seeing me once a week for extra help.

Each quarter students with a D or F will be assigned to Math Homework Club which meets Thursday after school in room 702.  Any student may attend these sessions, as I review for quizzes or tests, organize students or simply individualize the help.  Please encourage your child to attend.

My extra help schedule is posted below.  Again please encourage your child to ask for the help they need.

EXTRA HELP SCHEDULE:
Homework club is Thursday after school. Students will take the late bus home.  This is mandatory for students with D's or F's, but anyone is welcome.

Mornings: 8:15 am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  PERIOD  3 and 5  by appointment
  PERIOD  9 without appointment
  After school by appointment
