Studio In Art Sketch Assignments

(Acceleration Program)

Objective: Inspires creative thinking and polishes students drawing skills. It is important for students to practice on drawing and brainstorming their ideas. It can only help my instruction and overall make their artwork/involvement in Art successful. Homework assignments are given in the sketchbook each week. Students are expected to spend approximately 30 minutes on each assignment. The drawings should be done in pencil (unless otherwise assigned) and should be large enough to fill the page. Each assignment is graded with emphasis being put on the student's effort.
Each sketch should have the following:

* All sketches should show value, use up the space of the paper and be neatly organized.

* Label each sketch with due date.
