MN Prevention
We know from research and first hand experience that at least 80% of good classroom management involves prevention. The way in which the environment is set-up has proven to be the key factor in determining whether students succeed.
In an effort to meet the needs of students whose social, emotional, and/or behavioral difficulties interfere with their school performance, each of the Management Needs classes is comprised of the following major components.
12:1:2 student/teacher/aide ratio
Behavior management systems
Tailored instruction
"Home-base" classroom
Behavior specialist support
