English units:
7th Grade English: We will be reading one or more of the books listed below. Most homework questions will be in the form of questions based on the days reading. The questions are to be answered in the journal at the end of the students' English binders. All questions are to be answered in complete sentences and should be stated so the reader can figure out which question was answered. For example if the the question is, Where does Billy live?, the answer should be similar to the following, Billy lives in the Ozark Mountains.

Where the Red Fern Grows: Questions
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Questions
7th Grade Science: We will start with Unit 1: Scientific Method and Skills. Please go over the corresponding notes (1-1, 1-2, etc.) with your child. Reviewing the notes on a nightly or bi-nightly basis rather than waiting for a quiz to be announced will insure success. My quizzes and tests are based on the information in the notes. The notes are all in a question an answer format. Alternate between using the following formats for studying: 1) ask your child the questions and have her/him give the answers, 2) read the answer to your child and have her/him give you the question.
You will know which unit we are on by looking at the guided notes that are sent home through out the year.

Unit 3b: Matter: Elements and Atoms notes
Unit 4: Compounds and Mixtures notes
