The game of pool is really all physics.  You use a cue stick to hit a cue ball in which you try to roll other balls into the pockets.  In order to achieve this, you need to understand the way to hit the cue ball.  Below is a large diagram exampling how the angle that your stick hits the cue ball determines the way that it spins. The cue ball is 2 1/4" in diameter.
