The 2004 Tsunami in Indonesia

                                           The Tsunami was very devastating to Indonesia and also to my family because my aunt lived in Indonesia for many years and two or three years ago moved to the United States but much of her family and many of her friends still lived in Indonesia, but luckily none of them were hurt. The tsunami was very high up in the air and struck Indonesia's island of Sumatra very hard it had a 9.3 magnitude and was 20 meters or 80 feet tall. The tsunami hit the place with the red wavy line very hard on the picture below.

People were going crazy and running for their lives. NO REALLY THEY WERE RUNNING FOR THEIR LIVES!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately almost 3,000 people died.

Most of the time a tsunami is caused by an earthquake.
