Hi. This is about molecules, their structure and how scientists manipulate them to our advantage. A molecule is described as an electrically neutral group of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds. This is why atoms will also be discussed as they play an important role in the make-up of a molecule.

Here is an example of a molecular structure. This certain example is a water molecule; it has a formula of H2O and a diameter of about 2.75. The formula is the simplest integer ratio of the chemical elements of molecular make-up.

 

             

           

 

 

Synthetic Molecules-

 

Anything synthetic is fake. Something recreated chemically by man. Like flavoring in a drink. It says “Natural Flavor” But it is most likely a fake.

A note able kind of synthetic molecule is the nanotube. It is 100 times stronger than steel and 1/6 lighter. Also an interesting molecule fact is that in recent research high fructose is an un-bonded molecule which makes it dangerous, especially for children. It is commonly found in *gasp* soda. Anyway synthetic molecules can be helpful, harmful, and even tasty. As read above.
