See the history of the clock is very long to tell so I am just going to give you the general picture. The first  clock that the people learned how to use  was by the sun.  These clocks were known as sun dials. The way they used the sun dial was  when the sun was close to the horizon, it was early sun rise or early sunset. Time telling back then was not  accurate. As the time went by the  technology got more advanced. Since the technology got better the idea of the clock got better.  Since the sun dial we have some other clocks like the alarm clock, coco clock and some more that you will see later.
