Drawing Help Sheet:
There
are two basic types of graphics that you can use to enhance your Microsoft Word
documents:
1. drawing objects. Drawing objects include AutoShapes,
diagrams, curves, lines, and WordArt
drawing objects. These objects are part of your Word document. Use the Drawing
toolbar
to change and enhance these objects with colors, patterns, borders, and other
effects. And:
2. Pictures
are graphics that were created from another file. They include bitmaps,
scanned pictures and photographs, and clip art. You can change and enhance
pictures by using the options on the Picture toolbar and a limited
number of options on the Drawing toolbar. In some cases, you must
ungroup and convert a picture to a drawing object before you can use the Drawing
toolbar options.
There
are many Graphic features to help you Draw
1.
Order: On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw,
point to Order, and then click Bring in Front of Text or Send Behind Text or other choices.
2.
Grouping: use Shift Click all Objects or (Select Object > drag rectangle over objects)
> Right Click > Grouping > Group
3. Grid
Snaps: Go to Draw >
Grid> Snaps should be on >
Check Display Gridlines on Screen as
necessary. Don’t change other settings.
4. Text
Wrapping: To move pictures and
Clip Art, Click on object>Click on Text Wrapping (on the Picture
toolbar) > set it as necessary (How should it fit into any text) Through If
you do not have text.
