Rain In A Bottle:  Getting water to drink is easy, unless you live in a desert. :

  • Question:  Can you get the fresh water out of the dirty water?
  • Materials:  Parts of two liter bottle, Dirty water, cup, ice

 Wild Weather Warnings: You are the meteorologist making predictions for the morning commute.

  • Question:  Can you make an accurate forecast for tomorrow’s weather?
  • Materials:  Hand Lens, Weather map, Computer, Weather map symbols appendix in book

Heating Things Up: It takes more than the sun alone to get things cooking,:

  • Question:  What variables affect the rate and houses temperature rises?
