Reading,
writing, listening, and speaking
are the four areas of focus within English Language
Arts.
By coming to class with a positive attitude, completed assignments, and
necessary supplies,
you will be on your way to improving your ability to be an effective
communicator and critical thinker. Active participation, both verbal and
on paper, is encouraged in order to understand the characteristics of narrative
(stories) and expository
(explanations) writing forms.
