A MONUMENTAL PROPOSAL: CONCLUSION
8TH GRADE SHENENDEHOWA CIVIL RIGHTS PERFORMANCE TASK ADAPTED TO WEBQUEST BY
|
| The Civil Rights Movement did not start in the the 1950s. It was a struggle that has lasted since the beginning of America. The rights of all Americans were guaranteed in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. Unfortunately for minorities their fellow Americans felt that these rights did not extend to them. It is up to you to make sure that each person that lives in America is a citizen and deserves all the respect and privileges of citizenry. This task should act as a reminder to you and all who view it of the struggle and accomplishments that these people suffered through to maintain their basic rights as Americans. |
