Homework Policy:

Homework assignments are Given to reinforce classroom learning.  To succeed, students must develop the important habits of carefully and promptly completing all assignments.  Students will be asked to fill out an excuse for assignments not completed on time.  Parents will be contacted after a student has handed in three late assignments.

Short assignments (textbook assignments and some worksheets) will only be accepted up to one day late.  Late papers will be penalized.  After one day, the student will receive a zero for that assignment and will not have the opportunity to make it up for late credit.

Longer assignments will be accepted beyond one day, but points will be deducted as follows:

10% - if handed in within one school day
25% - if handed in within two school days
50% - if later than two school days
