Chapter 3: Personal Poems
Chapter 4: Original Poems
Chapter 1:You will study examples of our literary terms:

onomatopoeia
Then you will be given the opportunity to write your own examples. Be creative! Think of the beauty of nature and those things that you love! Choose your words carefully to help create a strong image.
Chapter 2: This section will include 5 types of poems
Cinquain

Acrostic
Concrete
Chapter 3: This chapter will give you the opportunity to reflect on your life. There are 3 specific titles for you to work on. These include:
I Remember
In My Dreams
My Feelings
Chapter 4: In this section you will be given the opportunity to practice all that you have learned. You will be able to write poems which include examples of your literary terms. You can create poems with a specific rhyme scheme. You may also choose a specific style of poetry or write free verse. Let these poems show your creativity!
