Course Objective:

The major outcomes of the 8th grade Technology program is an ability for students to synthesize and apply their new technology literacy to the solution of problems through design, development, operation and maintenance of systems in each of the aspects of technology.

Course Description:

Five areas of study:

  1. Design - appropriate v. inappropriate resources/problem solving
  2. Energy Conversion -  electrical to mechanical and vise versa
  3. Structural Construction
  4. Cad – Drafting – orthographic’s, isometrics, 3 D modeling
