   Grading

            Grades are computed using a point system.  Students earn points for both in class activities and

            assignments completed outside of class.  Points earned will be reduced if assignment is turned in

            late (unless due to absence).

                  Assignments handed in:

                        on time = 100% of points earned

                        1 day late = 90% of points earned

                        more than 1 day late, before graded & returned = 75% of points earned

                        after graded & returned, within quarter = 50% of points earned

   Final Grade

            Each quarter grade is 40% (2/5) of final grade.

            Final Assessment is 20% (1/5) of final grade.

   Absences

            It is the student’s responsibility upon return to:

1.      Get any missed handouts from Student Center file

2.      Get any missed notes from classmate

3.      Schedule make-up time with teacher for any missed classroom activity or test
