Policy
Homework is an important part of student
learning and grades. Students are expected to complete all homework
assignments even if they are absent from school. If a student misses class for a
band lesson or other activities they are expected to make up work missed during
this time plus they are responsible for doing any homework assigned during that
period of time.
Students are rewarded for doing their homework
on time by receiving two points for every completed assignment. These
points add up each quarter and are the equivalent of two quiz grades for the
quarter. Absent students are responsible for showing me their homework when they
return. If a student misses an assignment, he/she can turn the assignment in
late and receive one point.
