Apple a Day is an early-education substance abuse prevention program. It addresses concepts such as building positive self-esteem, making good choices, developing healthy habits and recognizing safe people and places. Apple a Day is a literature based program that is done in the library with Mrs. Bailey and Ms. Rock. Each time we meet with the students we begin with a discussion, read a book together and then the students complete a journal entry. Apple a Day is done with students in Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade. Please feel free to take a look at the lessons posted below!
