Clifton Park Town Hall

Post Office, Crescent Rd.
Today if you want to get your mail you have choices.  It can be delivered to your home or you can rent a post-office box in the Post Office building.  You can no longer buy nails, sugar, flour or a saddle at this building.

 Local or town government business is done in this building.  It is called the Town Hall.  You can buy permits to build a house or go to court to pay a speeding ticket.  You can not rent a room to stay over night or get a meal here like you could in the 1800's when government business took place in a local hotel.

Our schools today have many rooms that hold different grades or offer different activities like Art, Music, Library, Computer Lab and Physical Education.

 

Clifton Park West Crescent Fire Department
Clifton Park
This is the West Crescent Fire Department on Crescent Road.  The people who work at this fire department are volunteers, they do not get paid for putting out fires and going to accidents.
Vischer Ferry Firehouse #1 Vischer Ferry Fire Department
This is the Vischer Ferry Fire Department. It is located in the center of Vischer Ferry.

Route 9 Bridge Route 9 Bridge
The Crescent Bridge goes over the Mohawk River. It connects Halfmoon to Latham.  It's a very busy bridge.
Rexford Bridge 1999 Rexford Bridge
This bridge also goes over the Mohawk River.  This bridge connects Clifton Park to Niskayuna. Many people use this bridge to commute to work from Clifton Park.

Today, if you want to stay over night you can get a room at this hotel on Plank Road in Clifton Park.
