You will be planning, writing, filming, and performing a newscast program that will take the place of normal morning announcements approximately once per month.  Various roles of a television production crew will be investigated by everyone involved in the production for the newscast program.  Your audience will be Okte 4th and 5th grade students.  You will brainstorm and select feature stories on topics such as current school news, current world news, human interest, sports or entertainment.  You will also be responsible for recurring features such as the Pledge of Allegiance, Words of Wisdom, and birthday announcements. Each newscast must be approximately 5-7 minutes long. As an OKTv team member  you will be responsible for researching the stories, writing scripts, preparing props, storyboarding, and dubbing audio.  During this production you will be responsible for:

• researching the roles of a television production crew

• performing the duties as a crew member

• interviewing, scripting, storyboarding and filming feature stories and

• organizing the format of the show

• editing the video and dubbing the audio

While working for OKTv Productions you will be using a video camera, microphone and MovieMaker software to complete this program.
