Class Activities
We've been having fun!
Here we are on our first days of third grade!
We had so much fun getting ready for our parents to visit our classroom at
Open House.
They were really surprised to find "us" sitting at our desks!
Swimming Classes
Look at our swimming lessons with Coach Lewis! What a blast we had at the Shenendehowa High School Pool!
Fire Safety

We learned all about Fire Safety when the Town of Clifton Park Fire Prevention Bus came to Orenda.
We read with our first grade book buddies each week!
Halloween
We had a parade around the school and enjoyed some spooky treats!

Members of the Clifton Park Rotary Club came and visited. They taught us about Rotary and what it means to be part of that organization. We learned how Rotary Clubs help other people. At the end of the presentation, we got our very own dictionary.
Thank you very much!

Our Honored Veterans
In November we honored family members who were Veterans.
Binky Patrol Quilt
Mrs. Schwanda came in and talked to third grade about her quilt project. Our quilt will go to a child who is going through a challenging time in their lives. Mrs. Schwanda and her team of quilters stitch these quilts together each year on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. What a nice way to make a difference!
Last year, in Writers Workshop, we wrote a photostory about our experience. Click on the play button below to hear about the Binky Patrol.
We had a fantastic time at the Outback!

Marble Jar Reward Days When we are caught being
good, we earn marbles for our marble jar! When it is filled, we get to
vote on a "reward". Here are some pictures of our celebrations.
Lexie Days by popular request
At the end of the day, the
kids have worn her out!
