can I help the student in the school setting?

speech and instructions simple.

students to restate directions to assure they understand what is asked of them
to do.

Limit
choices to two or three items.

Pre-warn
students of changes in routines or schedules.

Encourage
students and give lots of praise

Help them
understand social situations and how they should act
