WORD OF THE MONTH: Citizenship
Two of our classmates, Nathan Brimhall and Lauren Bell ran for Vice President for student Council. They did a fantastic job with their speeches in front of 3-5 grades. Nathan Brimhall was elected as Orenda's VP. Congrats to both Nathan and Lauren. Lauren will continue to support Nathan and Orenda as she is a member of Student Council. You should both be very PROUD :-)

Homework reminder: The students will have homework Monday through Thursday and sometimes on Friday. Please check their assignment notebook nightly to help get them organized. Remember to only remove things from their "WHITE EAGLE Folder". Please do not remove things/papers from other subject folders. I will let students know when to clean them out.
Orchestra lessons & rehearsals : Please remind your child that is their responsibility to make up any work they miss while at a lesson. Please remind your child to bring their instrument to school on the day they are scheduled for a lesson.

Go Math: Chapter 3. Multiply 2-Digit Numbers. Very important that students complete assignments and show their work in their consumable Practice Books notebooks! The students will have Math homework Monday through Thursday. Please have your child practice their MATH FACTS daily (multiplication and division). Science - We switch - Ms. Jess. See your child's agenda . Very important that students study notes from their packet on a daily basis.
Social Studies - Native American Unit: NYS Maps along with NYS facts. Current events will be covered throughout the week by reading and discussing "STORYWORKS" magazine.
