Buca and Izzy Wheeler

How well do you know Mrs. Wheeler?

I was born in Brooklyn, New York.  I moved to Clifton Park when I was in 8th grade.  I have lived in Clifton Park for 15 years.  I am a graduate of Shenendehowa High School, class of 96'.  I attended St. Bonaventure University, where I fell in love with my teaching career and my husband.  I met my husband Paul at St. Bonaventure but funny story we were both from Clifton Park.  After graduation I attended The College of St. Rose for my master's degree in Special Education.   In 2001, I started teaching at Orenda.  Paul and I were married in June of 2003.  We bought our first house in 2004.  I am a neighbor to many of you in Orenda.  In October of 2004,  two babies named Izzy and Buca were welcomed into my home.  They are little Shih-Tzu's.  Often they get into trouble eating your papers when I am grading your worksheets at home.  My mom and dad often come to school to visit you and bring you treats!  My sisters (Tricia and Becky are twins) also often come to visit our classroom.  Most days you will see me in my favorite colors black, white, or pink.  I also love to wear flip flops.  The crazier the flip the better.  My favorite holiday of course is my birthday.  March 23rd mark this date on your calendars!  Oh a few more little things you might need to know is that I love doing arts and crafts, playing video games, laser tagging, going to the movies, midnight bowling , hanging out with my friends, walking, a fall day and of course I LOVE getting any type of FLOWERS!!!
