In my Math class, grades are based on Homework, class work, quizzes, and tests.  Students will receive updated grades after every test.  Each student will receive a folder that will contain their current test on the top which will need to be signed.  The test folder with each student's current grade will also need to be signed and returned to school the following day. 

In preparation for the New York State Math exam each student will receive a binder of old practice test questions.  We will be doing practice test questions throughout the whole school year to keep the students aware of what the test will consist of.
