Let The Construction Begin!

After the break we will begin to wrap up our study of communities.  The final activity is one of the children's favorite...building a community.  Using milk cartons, lots of tape and construction paper our young construction workers build a community from the ground up.  Each class will be building one kind of community and two classes will combine their efforts to build a city.  Our young architects have to select a building, fill out an application (including blueprint drawings) and get approval from the the Town Development President (your child's teacher).  Of course we can not do all that construction without some help.  Therefore, if you would like to volunteer please let your child's teacher know.  Construction is slated to begin around mid-March.
