Morning Program
Morning Program occurs each morning from 8:15-8:40a.m. All classes are invited to attend when possible, but students in the primary grades attend daily. During Morning Program, students sing songs, say the pledge, share information about the date and weather, hear the lunch menu, and celebrate birthdays. We also have special presentations with stories, poems, songs, or art presented by students or invited guests.
Skano's Morning Program builds
a sense of community within the school because of its "inclusive" design.
Through a variety of means, students are encouraged to share in
whole-class, small group or individual
presentations. Throughout the year, it also enables the students to
meet all the staff members who work
together to make our school successful.
Although Morning Program is another Action Team at Skano, it strongly supports character education by promoting positive feelings about ourselves, our school and our community.
