Lacrosse & Field Hockey will be running a DONATION
DRIVE TO SUPPORT GREEN SNEAKERS which refurbishes
previously used sneakers so they can be sent to under
developed countries in Central Africa, Haiti and South
America as affordable footwear. No sneakers are too old,
new, or worn. Sneakers that are unfit for refurbishing will
be broken down and used in other local and national
projects. The Skano Community Action Club will be
supporting this donation drive beginning Wednesday, February
8th and continuing through Wednesday, February 15th.
Sneakers can be dropped off in the boxes provided in the
main lobby.
All students in grades 1-5 go outside everyday except in
extreme weather conditions. School may need to
be closed on occasion due to inclement weather. Please
monitor local TV and radio stations for the most up-to-date
school closing information. Be listening for Shenendehowa
school closings or delays, along with cancellation of after
school/evening activities are also available on the
Shenendehowa website @
www.shenet.org.
Morning kindergarten is cancelled on mornings when
school is delayed by two hours.
