THE BIRTHDAY JAR

The birthday jar is used daily at Morning Program as long as it is someone's birthday.  At Skano, we celebrate the birthdays of children and staff.

When it is your child's birthday, they should bring in the number of pennies equal to their age.  Their name is called and they come to the front of the audience.  They drop their pennies and tell how old they are.  They are given a birthday pencil for their special day.  Staff and students sign and sing Happy Birthday to your child.
