Tammy Hladun class at Arongen read Pop’s Bridge and focused on comparing and contrasting.  We then made gum drop bridges using toothpicks or spaghetti.  We  tested the strength of our bridges and culminated by comparing and contrasting them.  It was a great STEM activity with all engaged!

Mrs. Fredette’s class used my Storymaker, an online story creation program, to support their learning of the ingredients of a story.  Students created their own unique tales to demonstrate their understanding of story elements.  The project was developed by Lisa Gatzen, library intern, from Syracuse University.
