Dear Parents,

            Welcome to first grade!  On the first day of school, please provide your child with the following items (labeled with your child’s name):

1. A pack of crayons (maximum 24)

2. Colored pencils (12 – Crayola preferred)

3. 12 new pencils with erasers ( Ticonderoga preferred)

4. One regular size pack of regular and thin markers (Crayola preferred)

5. 5 heavy duty folders with bottom pockets (No side pockets, please!)

6. 2 large pink erasers

7. 1 view-cover 3-ring binder (1”)

8. 2 large glue sticks (clear or white, no colors)

9. A rectangular, hard plastic pencil box (No long or wide boxes, or boxes with handles, please)

10.   Scissors, pointed (Fiskars child scissors are preferred)

11.   A clipboard

12.   One large box of tissues

13.   A large backpack

14.   An old shirt with long sleeves for an art smock (No plastic smocks, please)

15. Ziploc Baggies – Boys bring gallon size.  Girls bring quart size.

16. $4.00 for National Geographic (cash only)

Mrs. Rosmarin and Ms. Debus’ class only: 2 marble notebooks (wide ruled)

Mrs. Keyes class only:  1 marble composition pad

***Please label all items with your child’s name***

Individual teachers may request additional items at the beginning of the school year.
